100 miles for 100 cents!?

Take a ride in to the past.

You could collect postcards until you're buried in them. There are still so many out there, thanks to the heavy card stock used to print them.

A snapshot in time, covered with a personal picture, cartoon, famous scenic site, or advertisement, they are still fun to examine.

Take Tilton's trolley in the card above for example. This was a card found in Connecticut and possibly sent by a friend or a relative to share some news and views from the West coast.

The funny part is, it was never used as a card, yet still managed to travel across the country. Take a look at the images.

Is there still a trolley ride to the San Gabriel Mission to see the bells? What about Cawston Ostrich Farm? I am hoping readers can fill me on on the age of this card and if anyone remembers this trolley run.

Click here for another card depicting a California landmark.
