2-Alarm Fire Damages Home On Mist Hill Drive In Brookfield: FD
The blaze was reported late Thursday morning.
BROOKFIELD, CT — A two-alarm fire damaged a house on Mist Hill Drive in Brookfield Thursday morning, according to fire officials, who added that no injuries were reported.
The blaze was reported just before noon, and the first arriving firefighters saw flames as they approached, prompting officials to immediately call in the second alarm for assistance.

"The fire was bought under control in 30 minutes and there were no injuries to members or civilians," officials wrote on Facebook.
Brookfield volunteer firefighters were assisted by the Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Company; the Water Witch Hose Co. #2 of New Milford; the Hawleyville Volunteer Fire Company #1; and the Danbury Fire Department - CT.

Additionally, the Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Department staffed Brookfield's Pocono Road station.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brookfield Fire Marshal’s office.
