2 Hospitalized Following Head-On Collision In Brookfield
Two motorists were hospitalized when a car and a van collided in the area of 53 Stony Hill Road in Brookfield, fire officials said.
BROOKFIELD, CT — Two motorists were hospitalized Monday following a head-on collision in Brookfield.
First responders to the area of 53 Stony Hill Road around 4:03 p.m. found one of the drivers trapped inside their vehicle, and used the "Jaws of Life" to extricate them, according to Brookfield Chief Andrew Ellis.
Both drivers were taken to Danbury Hospital in stable condition.

The road was closed for about an hour during the clean-up, according to fire officials.
