Brookfield Democratic Town Committee To Host Third Annual Get Involved Open House

During the family friendly event, community members will hear about the many ways you can make a change or create the government you want in Brookfield by volunteering or running for office. Residents are invited to stop by any time between 6 P.M. and 8 P.M. Appetizers will be provided. Cash bar and happy hour prices.
Current and former town board and commission members will be on hand to talk directly with individuals about their experiences in public service and running for office. There will also be printed information available.

"The recent passing of the New School Project referendum shows what we can accomplish when we have the right team working together,” said Brookfield Democratic Town Committee Chair, Laura Orban. “I know there are more great people out there who just need a chance to find out how to share their talents."
“We’re excited to work to continue the momentum from our successful local elections in 2015 and 2017 and the larger success of Democrats across the state and the nation in 2018,’’ added Christine Hand, Nominating Chair for the Brookfield Democratic Town Committee. “If you’ve ever considered running for office, now is the time. We need caring people like you who want to help Brookfield continue to flourish. Even if you’re not interested in running for office, we have many other volunteer opportunities available. We hope residents will bring their family and friends to our ‘Get Involved’ open house for a fun night out to discover how they can lend their talents to our wonderful town.”
