Agnes Elizabeth (Temple) Schullery, 87, of Brookfield, wife of Robert C. Schullery, died peacefully on January 11, 2011, at Danbury Hospital. She was born in Danbury on April 12, 1923, daughter of the late William and Agnes (Taylor) Temple.
She graduated from Danbury High School in 1941 and attended Crandall Secretarial School. She and her husband built their home in Brookfield and have resided there for 60 years. Mrs. Schullery was a den mother for Brookfield Cub Scouts Pack 5, was active in the Brookfield Republican Women’s Club and was a charter member of the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
She was employed at Barden Corporation during WWII. In her younger years she enjoyed cross country skiing with close friends and held a china painting class in her home with "the girls" for 20 years.

Mrs. Schullery was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert C. Schullery of Brookfield; her son, Robert T. Schullery and his wife, Susan, of Kent, CT; and her grandchildren, Dr. Matthew T. Schullery and his wife, Dr. Amy Schullery; and Evan R. Schullery, all of PA; and her beloved cat of 14 years, Walter. She is predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and Joseph Repko.
