UPDATE: Due to inclement weather, the Brookfield Memorial Day Parade scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled, police announced.
"While we are disappointed the community will not be able to gather for this year’s parade, we encourage everyone to take time this Memorial Day weekend to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country," police said in a social media post. "Please stay safe and have a meaningful Memorial Day weekend."
BROOKFIELD, CT — Brookfield's annual Memorial Day Parade is set to return on Sunday.
The parade is scheduled for May 24, beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Main St.
The Brookfield Lions Club will host the free event.
