BROOKFIELD, CT — Residents will have a chance to celebrate America's 250th anniversary with a fireworks display later this month in Brookfield.
The fireworks are scheduled for June 26 at Brookfield Town Hall, 100 Pocono Road. Fireworks are expected to begin at approximately 9:15 p.m.
According to organizers, the display is part of Brookfield's 250th celebration commemorating the nation's semiquincentennial.
Town officials said the event is intended to bring residents and visitors together for an evening of community celebration and patriotism.
