BROOKFIELD, CT — A road in Brookfield is closed Thursday morning after a tree fell onto power lines and caught fire, according to the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Company.
Fire officials said Ox Drive is closed while crews respond to the incident.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes until the road reopens.
