BROOKFIELD, CT — Blasius Auto Group has closed its Brookfield dealership on Federal Road as the Waterbury-based company consolidates its Connecticut operations.
The dealership, located at 465 Federal Road, operated as Blasius Federal Road and was also associated with Blasius Mitsubishi.
The closure is one of two recently reported by the auto group, which also shut down its Torrington location.
The closures could affect up to 45 employees across the two dealerships, according to the Hartford Business Journal.
Blasius Auto Group's flagship Chevrolet Cadillac dealership at 90 Scott Road in Waterbury remains open.
The company's website no longer lists Brookfield or Torrington among its Connecticut dealership locations.
