'Back The Blue' Rally Set For Sunday In Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, CT — A "Back the Blue" rally is scheduled for this weekend.
The event, organized by the Brookfield Republican Town Committee, will be held Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at 49 Federal Road, according to a post on the group's website.
"This Rally will be to show our local law enforcement that we stand behind them 100%. We hope to have a few speakers," organizers said. They are promising "light refreshments, coffee and donuts."
