The Brookfield High School (BHS) boys soccer team extended their unbeaten streak to 13 games with a 1-1 tie at Masuk Saturday followed by a 3-1 win over Weston at home Monday.
At Masuk senior A. J. Sussingham's well placed corner kick found sophomore Jon Serino, who headed it home in the 38th minute for a 1-0 Bobcat half time advantage. The lead was short lived however, as Masuk answered early in the second half with a goal off a corner kick of their own.
Brookfield goalkeeper Austin DaCunha preserved the tie with a pair of well played saves down the stretch on Masuk's tricky grass surface.
