Brookfield Baseball Player Signed with the Sioux City Explorers
Brendan Slattery signed late last season with the X's and appeared in 19 games with 14 hits and a .269 batting average.
BROOKFIELD, CT-- A Brookfield baseball player has been signed with the Sioux City Explorers, according to the Sioux City Journal.
Brendan Slattery has been signed to the 2016 American Association contracts. This will be his second season of professional baseball.

Slattery, a catcher, started the 2015 season with the Southern Illinois Miners in the Frontier League.
