Jury selection has been pushed back to November.

BROOKFIELD — Jury selection for the trial between the Board of Education and former superintendent Anthony Bivona, originally scheduled for Tuesday, has now been pushed out to Nov. 28,the News Times has reported. A trial management conference has been scheduled for Nov. 14.
The BOE fired Bivona in October 2014, alleging that he did not properly oversee the district's finances.
Bivona's defense was based upon blaming the former business manager, Art Colley, for "improper accounting and financial management practices he did not disclose." Colley was one of two staff members accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the schools.
