Brookfield Business Owners Will Now Pay Fees for Fire Marshal Inspections
Brookfield business owners who need liquor permits, residential building and business inspections will now be required to pay a fee.
BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield board of Selectmen announced that business owners and resident will now be required to pay for inspections by the town’s fire marshal such as liquor permits, residential building permits and/or business permits and inspections, according to a report on The News Times.
The new ordinance was approved Monday night and, according to Steve Dunn, will put Brookfield in line with neighboring towns who already charge fees for permits and inspections.
