How did you come up with the name?

Pizzeria Bello was chosen to compliment the tasty and beautiful dishes we serve, along with our fresh atmosphere and friendly service. Our Pizzeria is BELLO.

Why choose the location? Why start a business in this town?

We love Brookfield! We decided to have our business in this town because Brookfield has a faith and family centric sense of community. These are qualities that we have in common. Therefore, it was an easy and natural decision for us to have our business in Brookfield.

Briefly, what business are you in?

Pizzeria Bello is a casual upscale pizzeria/restaurant. We are in the business of providing our customers with the best quality Italian fare and service around. Not to mention the best New York Style pizza! Our motto is Fresh food….Family friendly…Fun times!

What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

The most difficult challenge we’ve faced as business owners, has been the constant rising costs of food. Despite this, we continue to provide the highest quality ingredients. We will not fall into the trap of sacrificing quality to reduce food costs. That would be a recipe for disaster.

Were there any challenges that made you second guess your decision to be an entrepreneur?

Luckily, no, we haven’t had to second guess the decision.

What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?

Our proudest achievement was the first time a customer told us that we were their favorite restaurant. Since then, we have had many more favorite moments. In fact, we have several favorite moments and great achievements daily! Every time a customer tells us how delicious our food is, or when a child gives us a drawing for our wall, or when kids do the “pizza” dance. What’s the “pizza dance?” You’ll know it when you see it. It’s fun to watch. Next time you’re in our Pizzeria, be on the lookout for the “pizza dance.” If you’re lucky, you may catch an adult doing the dance when they are not even be aware of it.

What’s the most innovative idea your employees or customers have had that you put into practice?

We’ve talked about implementing on-line ordering for a while. However, thanks to a few persistent customers, it is finally up!

How do you deal with difficult customers?

It is our job to understand the needs of every customer and do what it takes to satisfy the customer. It is our daily goal to ensure the best possible experience for our customers.

How does your business give back or get involved in the community?

As Winston Churchill once said, “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” This is a philosophy we try to live by daily. It is a way of life that we try to instill in our kids. As part of the Brookfield community, we are honored to be involved with a number of worthwhile causes and local programs. Our business appreciates the individuals and organizations that directly impact our community on a daily basis. Our police officers, fire fighters, EMT and clergy receive a 10% discount with any purchase when they are in uniform or when they show ID. We also support our local parishes and get involved in school fund raisers regularly. We sponsor and encourage Brookfield sports. We welcome all good causes and efforts that help make our community a better place. So whether it’s sponsoring our local Little League baseball team or helping to raise awareness and support in fighting cancer, you can be sure we’ll get involved. Because that’s really what we are all about — family.
