The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The new Huckleberry school being built is crucial. As member of the Board of Finance it's important to consider the future expenses of the new school and balance that with the rest of the needs of the town and try to mitigate large burdens on the taxpayers. Planning is key.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I am open to reason. If someone makes a good enough argument on a particular issue it could affect how I think on a particular issue at hand. I take facts, logic and reason into consideration on every decision I make. Proper communication is key when working on board matters and it's important to consider how it affects all members of the community and not just how it affects you the individual.
List other issues that define your campaign platform:
I am eager to continue to elevate the standards of Brookfield’s financial reporting as well as the continuous effort to ensure a sound annual budget through a strong and well-established collaborative effort with the town’s Finance Team, Selectmen, and Board of Education.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
One thing that sticks out in my 2 years on the board of finance as a major accomplishment is asking for the town's finance department to regularly provide updated balance sheets and financial statements to the board of finance. We are one of the only towns in Connecticut to receive regular updates on these and the ensures the town budget stays on track and we aren't hit with surprises.
