Brookfield Chamber's Executive Director Steps Down
Susan Murphy will step down from her current role as Executive Director of the Brookfield Chamber to focus on membership growth.

Brookfield, CT --- The Brookfield Chamber of Commerce announced that Susan Murphy will be stepping down from her current role as Executive Director to focus her energies on membership growth and development for the Chamber.
Susan was a key participant in the committee to establish a Chamber in Brookfield in 2005 and became its first Executive Director, a position she has held for 10 years.
Susan stated, “It has been a very rewarding 10 years. It has afforded me the opportunity to work with a dedicated group of individuals, who over the past decade, have played and will continue to play, an important role in enhancing not only the business community, but the quality of life in Brookfield. I am looking forward to continued work with our current members and recruiting new members to grow the Chamber.”
Rebecca Lollie, Chamber Board President, speaking on behalf of the Board of Directors, noted that, “Susan has worked tirelessly to grow the Chamber membership and was instrumental in developing the Chamber into what it is today. Her extraordinary service has made her “the face” of the Chamber. She has had a positive impact and provided inexpressible value not only to the Chamber members but to the Brookfield Community as a whole.”
