BROOKFIELD COMMUTERS: DOT Announces Accidents, Delays and Hazardous Roads
The CT Department of Transportation reports several incidents and delays across the state that could impact commuters Monday.

BROOKFIELD, CT-- The Connecticut Department of Transportation is reporting several incidents and accidents across the state that could impact commuters driving home from work Monday.
"Slippery conditions are possible. Inclement weather such as snow or ice during winter storms may cause numerous accidents to occur on state highways. Most accidents are not reported by the Connecticut Department of Transportation and the Connecticut State Police due to the unusually high number of incidents. However, reports will be provided on incidents that cause the MAJOR HIGHWAYS to be closed for a long period of time," the CT DOT said on their website.
The following accidents and incidents have been reported across Connecticut:
- Slippery conditions in Waterbury
- Delays - STAMFORD- on I-95 Northbound between Exits 6 and 9 (for 2.3 miles)
