Brookfield Craft Center to Host Open House

Blacksmithing, ceramics, fiber arts, jewelry, painting and drawing, wood turning, glass arts and digital media will all be on display.

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Craft Center will be hosting an open house from 12-5 p.m. on Saturday.

Artists will be demonstrating in all the center's eight studios. An exhibition from the faculty will also be on display, and the shop has handcrafted items for sale from artists across the country. Blacksmithing, ceramics, fiber arts, jewelry, painting and drawing, wood turning, glass arts and digital media will also be on display in the newly renovated Center for Modern Craft

"Our open house is a great opportunity for the community to see how enjoyable and accessible our programs are here at the Center," Howard Lasser, executive director of the center, said in a release. "With a talented faculty of over two dozen instructor artists and a continuously changing lineup of learning opportunities, we have something for everyone."
