Brookfield Dancers Perform in FineLine Nutcracker
Brookfield dancers will perform in FineLine Theatre Arts' Nutcracker production this weekend at New Milford High School.
This weekend five Brookfield dancers will be performing in FineLine Theatre Arts' production of The Nutcracker. The performances will be at 7:00pm on Saturday evening, December 17th and 1pm and 6pm on Sunday, December 18th at New Milford High School. Tickets for those 12 and under are free. Senior tickets are $15 and Adults' tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the performance.
The Brookfield dancers are Angelia Prip, 15, Tatiana Prip, 11, Helena Pinto, 11, Cat Ramsay and Vanessa Greenstein, 9, Quinn Pinto, 9, and Madison DeMar, 8. Angelia Prip is dancing as Clara's best friend, Snow and the Arabian. Tatiana Prip is performing as Clara's doll and a Candy Cane. Helena is in the Grandfather's Dance and is a Flower, Quinn is a Mouse in the Battle Scene, Cat is both a Soldier in the Battle Scene and a Sugar Plum Attendant. Vanessa and Madison are Mice and Sugar Plum Attendants.
Angelia Prip has trained at both Boston Ballet and Kaatsbaan's audition only summer intensives and Tatiana Prip has been accepted to American Ballet Theatre's summer intensive. Most of the dancers performing in this weekend's Nutcracker are pre-professional ballet students who train many days per week in addition to their rehearsals. Come lose yourself in the Land of Sweets for an hour and a half and celebrate the season!
