Brookfield Fabric Shop To Host Charity Bartending Event

Cotton Candy Fabrics in Brookfield will host a guest bartending event and raffle to benefit the Center of Education and Empowerment.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Cotton Candy Fabrics, a full-service community fabric and quilt shop in Brookfield, is hosting a celebrity bartending event at Del Primo restaurant to raise money for the Center of Education and Empowerment.

All tips and a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to The Center. In addition to bartending, Cotton Candy Fabrics will also be launching a quilt raffle, for the chance for participants to win quilts and other quilted items made by Cotton Candy Fabrics’ staff, teachers, and friends.

"I am honored to be a participant of the celebrity bartending event where we can unite the local community through a great organization, quilts, and good food and drinks," said Erin Byrne, owner and creative director of Cotton Candy Fabrics.

Cotton Candy Fabrics will kick off the raffle on Thursday, Sept. 28 from 6-9 p.m. at Del Primo restaurant at 450 Federal Road in Brookfield. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase until Oct. 26. The winners will be drawn on Oct. 27 at 4 p.m.
