Brookfield Firefighters Host Boating & Watercraft Course
The Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department Candlewood Company will be hosting a combined boating and personal watercraft course on Saturday.
BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department Candlewood Company will be hosting a combined boating and personal watercraft course on Saturday, open to the public.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be provided with a certificate of completion and possess the requirements necessary for the state's Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation, which includes the Safe Waterskiing Endorsement.
All are required to have a conservation ID number from the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection before taking the course. The IDs are available for free online here.

The course fee is $89. Payment and registration may be accomplished online here.

The location is the BVFD fire house at 18 Bayview Drive in Brookfield, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on May 14.
