Brookfield Firefighters Respond to Residential Structure Blaze, Road Closures Announced

Brookfield, CT – Firefighters from both Brookfield Fire Companies are currently operating at a residential structure fire located in the area of Fleetwood Lane. The incident has led to an increased presence of emergency personnel and temporary road closures within the town.

Multiple neighboring fire departments are assisting Brookfield crews at the scene. This collaborative effort means residents can anticipate a heightened fire department presence along Route 133, extending from the center of Brookfield towards the Bridgewater Bridge.

In conjunction with the emergency response, Route 25 has been closed in the area of its intersection with Route 133, which is in the center of town. Officials are advising motorists to avoid this specific area if possible to ensure the safety of both the public and emergency responders.

The Fire Department said, "Companies and mutual aid are operating at a residential house fire on Fleetwood Lane. We are getting reports of brown water in the area of 25/133, Aquarion has been notified."
