Brookfield First Responders Tackle House Fire
Brookfield Volunteer Fire and EMS responded to the report of a house fire on Tower Road Wednesday.
BROOKFIELD, CT — Firefighters tackled a residential fire on Wednesday morning.
Brookfield Volunteer Fire and EMS responded to the report of a structure fire at 126 A Tower Road at 10:12 a.m. Crews were on the scene within two minutes as they were already in the neighborhood for a motor vehicle accident.
The fire was under control within 15 minutes, according to fire officials, and members operated for two-and-a-half hours before clearing the scene.

There were no injuries to residents or firefighters, according to fire officials.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
