The Federated Garden Club of CT theme project this year is “Growing Together - Tiny Acorns to Mighty Oaks.” This native oak tree project is to plant a CT native oak in a public place in our town.
I am proud to announce that on Oct. 28, 2015, with the help of Brookfield Parks & Recreation Dept, Dennis Dipinto, Chris Rabuse and Hollandia Nursery, we have planted and staked a beautiful native red oak at Kid’s Kingdom Park at Town Hall. This tree will stand strong and grow as the children in our community grow. I am very proud to be a member of The Garden Club of Brookfield and part of our beautiful community.
