Brookfield High School Looks to Repeat in Football Title Game

The fifth-seeded Bobcats will meet No. 2 New Fairfield in the Class M finals Saturday morning in West Haven.

Brookfield, CT - Brookfield High School is looking for its second straight state football championship in the Class M title game Saturday.

The fifth-seeded Bobcats will tangle with No. 2 New Fairfield in the finals at West Haven High School. Kickoff is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.

Brookfield enters the game with a 10-2 record, while New Fairfield stands at 11-1.

The teams met on opening day on Sept. 11, with the Bobcats emerging victorious by a 27-13 score.

The Rebels are making their first appearance in the finals in 32 years, while Brookfield is competing for the title for the eighth time.
