Would you like to create your own individual piece of art without being judged on it? The Pottery Factory, located at 265 Federal Road, is a place where you can go in and create your own masterpiece for prices ranging from 8 to 28 dollars. You can sign up online to take classes if you want to improve your skills or you can just go in and create.
You can choose from glass fusing, candle making, canvas painting, and pottery. For glass fusing, customers can use pre-cut glass or cut their own glass, then fuse it into a plate, bowl, or other piece. If candle making is your forte, you can create a scrumptious-smelling candle with hot wax. Another option is canvas painting, in which you can try your hand at recreating a famous piece of art, such as Van Gogh’s “Starry Night”. If ceramics is where your interest lies, create a wonderful piece of pottery. The glassware at The Pottery Factory is varied and premade. Everything is toxic free and safe for food and drink consumption. They have crafts for customers of all ages, from children, to teens, to even adults. Tell your parents they can enjoy a night out with what they call “Cork-and-Canvas.”
