Brookfield Issues Reminders About Dogs At Town Parks
As spring approaches, Brookfield Parks and Recreation has issued a few reminders about dogs at parks and athletic fields in town.
BROOKFIELD, CT — As spring approaches, Brookfield Parks and Recreation has issued a few reminders about dogs at parks and athletic fields in town.
In a Facebook post Monday, the department said it was excited to see the community getting back outside, enjoying Brookfield's beautiful parks and spending time outdoors with their dogs.
"As a reminder, dogs are not permitted on athletic fields to help keep these spaces safe and clean for games and programs," the post reads.

The department also reminds residents to clean up after their dogs and keep them on a leash at all times while visiting town parks and facilities in accordance with the town's leash ordinance.
"Thank you for helping us keep our parks safe, clean and enjoyable for everyone," the post reads. "We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to a great spring season!"
