Brookfield LAX Student Named 'Athlete of the Week'

BROOKFIELD, CT-- The Massachusetts Maritime Buccaneers recently announced that Brookfield college sophomore Stephanie Hunt and freshman midfielder Erica Overstreet were named as the respective Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse Player and Rookie of the Week for their performances in the Buccaneers’ 20-4 victory over MCLA last Saturday afternoon at Clean Harbors Stadium.

Hunt is a Brookfield High School graduate. She made six goals and four assists for a school single-game record 10 points and leads Massachusetts Maritime in scoring with 21 goals and 11 assists for 32 points in six contests to date.
