Brookfield Library Art Gallery To Mount Exhibit Of Student Artwork

The Brookfield Library Art Gallery is presenting "Oceans of Possibilities," an exhibition of ocean-themed artwork created by students.

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Library Art Gallery presents "Oceans of Possibilities," an exhibition of ocean-themed artwork created by pre-k through high school students, on view from Aug. 1 through Aug. 30.

The exhibition's reception will be held on Aug. 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Library’s Community Room.

The Brookfield Library Art Gallery is located in the Library's Community Room and is open during the Library's regular operating hours. Visitors should check in at the circulation desk before entering the Gallery. A virtual version of the exhibition will be available on the Brookfield Library’s website starting Aug. 1.

Area artists interested in being considered for future shows in the Brookfield Library Art Gallery
are invited to submit samples of their work either in person at the Library or by emailing the
Brookfield Library Art Gallery Committee at gallery@brookfieldlibrary.org. The Committee will
review all submissions and will contact those selected to schedule exhibitions. Members of the
public will be able to view exhibitions virtually and in-person in The Brookfield Library’s
community room.
