Brookfield Library Art Gallery Seeks Student Work For Exhibition

The show, "Oceans of Possibilities​," will feature community artwork on the library's summer reading theme.

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Library Art Gallery Committee is soliciting ocean-themed art from preschool through high school students for an upcoming exhibition.

The show, "Oceans of Possibilities," will feature community artwork on the library's summer reading theme and be held in its Community Room as well as virtually on the library’s website for the months of July and August 2022.

Students may email one or two submissions to gallery@brookfieldlibrary.org by June 20. The artwork's title, dimensions, medium and contact information should accompany the submission. The Brookfield Library Art Gallery Committee will review all submissions.

The Brookfield Library Art Gallery is located in the library’s Community Room and is open during regular operating hours. Visitors must check in at the circulation desk before entering the Gallery. Due to construction, there will be no exhibition during June.
