BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Library is now featuring the work of photographer Dawn Kubie in the second at its new art gallery space.

The show, entitled "Nature's Perfection," highlights Kubie’s photography work of close-up, larger-than-life flowers on stretched canvas and runs through July 30. An artist’s reception is scheduled for Saturday, July 20, from 5:30 – 7:00 pm, in the library’s community room, with refreshments.

"This new exhibit space in our library has generated a lot of positive feedback from the community! Exhibits are already booked through the end of this year. Our first show was very well received with local Brookfield artists Colin Harrison and Marianne Shahlamian. This new show with area artist Dawn Kubie is bold and colorful and stunning. I’m certain people will enjoy her creative technique. Be sure to stop in during the month of July to see this," said Library Director Yvonne Cech in a release.
