Brookfield Library Gallery to Exhibit Local Artist
The artist's work includes realism, abstraction, semi-abstraction, pointillism, cubism and geometric

BROOKFIELD, CT —The latest exhibit at The Brookfield Library Art Gallery will feature work by local artist Blake Reuter. The show, entitled "Experiments in Painting," will run Sept. 8-28.
Reuter’s work includes realism, abstraction, semi-abstraction, pointillism, cubism and geometric. He likes working with acrylic paint and experimenting with various delivery methods, according to a news release. The subject matter also varies greatly, from objects to animals to landscapes and seascapes.
"We are thrilled to be able to showcase local artists. We are aiming to, eventually, be able to display a broad range of artistic styles. Blake’s work is a step in that direction since he has many different styles within this show" said Library Director Yvonne Cech.
