“This informative program gives voters an opportunity to see and hear from the Connecticut General Assembly candidates on the ballot. In this time of social distancing, campaigning looks different than it ever has before, so we are particularly proud to be able to provide access to the candidates in this way. Register for the program and you will hear directly from the candidates themselves about their views on various issues relevant to Brookfield voters,” said Library Director, Yvonne Cech.
The event, organized by Rachel Leff, the Head of Adult Services, is not a formal debate, but rather an opportunity for the candidates to clearly explain their ideas and solutions directly to residents. The candidates will be given the general topics to be discussed
the day before the event, giving them time to clearly articulate their positions on various issues.
