Brookfield Lions Club Organizes Blood Drive

BROOKFIELD, CT —The Brookfield Lions Club is sponsoring a blood drive.

Blood donations will be accepted in the Fellowship Hall of the Congregational Church of Brookfield, 160 Whisconier Road, on June 15 from 1:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Hospitals in Connecticut are still recovering from the squeeze the coronavirus pandemic put on the supply of available blood. The stock for certain blood types dwindled to less than a day's supply, according to the Red Cross.
