Brookfield Lions Brookfield Lions has new Officers for 2015-2016

The Brookfield Lions welcome their new Leadership Team for 2015-2016 at their Annual Inauguration Dinner. Outgoing President Susan O’Brien listed some of the Club’s achievements for 2014-2015. She was pleased to announce that the Club had a total of 52 service activities representing 1148 service hours which served 9337 people. The Brookfield Lions Club met the International Lions Centennial Service Challenge by organizing events in support of Youth, Vision, Hunger and Environment.


The Lions Club is the largest Service Organization in the World with over 1.4 million members in 45,000 Local clubs located in over 200 countries and territories. The Brookfield Lions support a number of local, regional and international causes including Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Pediatric/Adult Vision Screening, Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation, Eyeglasses for the Needy, Red Cross Blood Drives, Ability Beyond and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The Brookfield Lions meet twice weekly on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month.
