Brookfield Lions Support Regional Hospice
Brookfield Lions Donate $3000 to Regional Hospice and Palliative Care Center

At the 30th Annual Shamrock Breakfast held at the Candlewood Inn Thursday March 16th, Brookfield Lions President Lyn Lyon presented a $3000 check to Regional Hospice. It was mentioned by Peg Ellis, Chair, Brookfield Giving Circle, that over the years the Brookfield Lions have donated $30,000 for this important cause.
The Lions Club is the largest Service Organization in the World with over 1.4 million members in 45,000 Local clubs located in over 200 countries and territories. The Brookfield Lions support a number of local, regional and international causes including Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Pediatric/Adult Vision Screening, Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation, Eyeglasses for the Needy, Red Cross Blood Drives, Ability Beyond and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
