Brookfield Man Charged with Fleeing Accident, Victim on Hood
The victim tried to stop the man from driving away.

BROOKFIELD, CT — State police have charged a Brookfield with crashing into another car and then fleeing with the victim still on his hood, the News Times has reported.
After a minor accident near Exit 12 of Route 7 North on Friday night, Kerri Walsh, 56, attempted to drive away from the scene. The victim treid to prevent that from happening by standing in the way of Walsh's car. Walsh sped away nevertheless, with the other man clinging to Walsh's hood. reports say.
After travelling a half-mile Walsh slowed enough for his victim to dismount, and then continued along to his house, where police took him into custody. The victim was unharmed.

Police charged Walsh with reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, failure to drive in the proper lane, and evading responsibility. He was released on a $2,000 and is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Sept. 6.
