Police have charged a Brookfield man with driving drunk into a house.
BROOKFIELD, CT — Police have charged a Brookfield man with driving drunk into a house.
William Osterhout, 38, crashed his vehicle into a house on June 6, according to the police report.
Police reported there were "multiple signs" that Osterhout was operating his vehicle while impaired. He failed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody.

Osterhaut was charged with DUI, failure to obey a stop sign, reckless driving, and driving a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. He was held on $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Tuesday.
