Brookfield Man Found Dead Out-Of-State: Report
The man's body was found last year in the woods and police were able to confirm his identity as a Brookfield man.

BROOKFIELD, CT — A local man's remains were found in Vermont woods, according to Vermont State Police.
The Office of The Chief Medical Examiner in Vermont identified the victim as Paul Paribello, 52, on March 22. The remains were found in the woods off I-91 in Hartford, VT March 5, 2017 by an individual walking through the woods.
Evidence at the scene suggested the victim was Paribello and DNA from surviving relatives was used to confirm the identity.

"Paribello's death is not considered suspicious in nature," said Sgt. Mike Dion, police spokesman. "Paribello’s ties were to Connecticut; however he had been staying in White River Junction, VT for some time prior to his death."
