Brookfield Man Found Not Guilty on Charges of Sexual Assault

The charges filed in 2012, alleged that the man had illicit sexual contact with two girls.

Editor’s Note: We first ran this story June 1 but ICYMI a man was found not guilty on these charges. 

A Brookfield man and former owner of Top Flight Sports Center in New Milford was found not guilty on charges of sexual assault, the News Times reports.

According to the paper, David Amory, 51 was accused of fourth-degree sexual assault and illicit sexual contact of two girls who were enrolled in the facility’s child care program. The charges came from investigations into reported incidents in January 2011 and June 2012.
