Brookfield, New Fairfield Crews Rescue Jet Skier

Rescue crews from Brookfield​ and New Fairfield came to the aid of an injured jet skier on Candlewood Lake Sunday afternoon.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Rescue crews from Brookfield and New Fairfield came to the aid of an injured jet skier on Candlewood Lake Sunday afternoon.

Two New Fairfield fire/rescue boats launched from the town park around 3:10 p.m. and called upon Brookfield's Marine 25 for mutual aid.

New Fairfield emergency personnel transported the injured jet skier to their waiting ambulance, and onto the hospital, the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department Candlewood Company reported.
