Brookfield Parks and Rec Announce Second Delay of Town Park Opening
Brookfield residents who have bought a town beach pass can expect a partial refund due to the second delay of the beach opening.

Due to a number of updates and upgrades, the Brookfield Parks and Recreation department has announced a second delay to the opening date of Brookfield Town Park. They had originally stated in May that the park would open this Saturday, on June 20, however they recently announced a new opening date of July 4, 2015.
Updates include three times as much sand, a new family changing area and a new indoor concession area where beachgoers can take a break from the sun and enjoy refreshments from the concessions stand.
Swimming lessons that were scheduled for Brookfield Town Park will now be held at an offsite facility, The Dive Shop, located at 439 Federal Rd, Brookfield. Click here for details.
