Brookfield Police Arrest Two Bank Robbery Suspects
Police stated that the Brookfield bank robbery took place on Monday by a 24-year-old Danbury man and his live-in girlfriend.

Police arrested two suspects in connection with a Brookfield bank robbery on Monday at Union Savings Bank at the Four Corners on Federal Road, according to a police report.
Brookfield and Danbury Police, along with the Statewide Narcotics Task Force and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security worked together to investigate the bank robbery which occurred Monday afternoon. Using video footage and eyewitness testimony, they were able to nab the two suspects, Daniel Rodrigues, 24, of Avalon Valley Drive, Danbury, and his girlfriend, Kelsey Fournier,25.
Officers recovered $8.077 in cash, including a bill with serial numbers recorded by Union Savings Bank before the robbery, according to the report. Police also found some money in Fournier’s purse.
Rodriguez was charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree larceny. He was held on $50,000 bond and arraigned Wednesday morning in Danbury Superior Court.
Fournier was charged with second-degree larceny and was released on $5,000 bond. She is due in court on Feb. 12.
