Brookfield Police Charge Bethel Man with DUI

The police say he collided with a plow.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Police have charged a Bethel man with DUI after they say he crashed into a Brookfield plow truck.

The incident occurred last Monday, March 4, at the intersection of Grays Bridge and Sand Cut Roads at around 11:30 p.m.

Police say Michael Campbell, 27, failed a field sobriety test and was charged with failure to drive on the right side of the road, as well as diving under the influence of drugs/alcohol.

Campbell was released on a $100 cash bond and scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
