BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Police Department is looking to hire an entry level police officer, according to officials.

The position, which is advertised on PoliceApp.com, has a salary range of $59,335 to start ($67,552 after six months) to $86,337 (the current year-five top step salary).

The position enjoys group medical insurance, paid vacation, a tax-deferred retirement savings plan, uniform allowance, and tuition assistance, among other perks.

Applicants must be age 21 or older, possess U.S. citizenship, a high school diploma or G.E.D., and a valid U.S. driver's license. Applicants with felony or Class A or B misdemeanor convictions will not be considered.
