Brookfield Police To Hold 2nd Annual 'Night Out'

The Brookfield police are promising an evening of fun with them and other town first responders, with plenty of family-friendly activities.

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Police Department is inviting residents and friends out to its 2nd Annual Night Out," Aug. 2, from 4-8:30 p.m., at Town Hall.

The event is free. The PD is promising an evening of fun with them and other town first responders, with plenty of family-friendly activities.

The evening will include a home run derby, face painting, potato sack racing, tattoos, tug-o-war, K-9 demonstrations, helicopters, NARCAN training, bounce houses, a dunk tank, raffles, food and — of course — cornhole.

Live music will be provided by Bluesy Land.

National Night Out is a community-building initiative held each year "that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie," according to the national organization.
