Eligible Republicans Invited to Become Candidates for BRTC

Local registered Republicans are invited to step forward and indicate their interest in becoming candidates for the Brookfield Republican Town Committee (BRTC). New members of the town committee will be interviewed by the Vacancy Committee through January 5 for two-year terms that will begin in March. The caucus at which members will be elected will be held on Thursday, January 9th at 7:00 pm at the Whisconier School. The snow date is January 14th.

Chairman Loretta Donovan has said, “Experience in politics is not necessary to participate. What’s most important is a willingness to get involved and commit to responsible public service.” She emphasizes that belief in the mission of the BRTC is necessary to serve. The three pillars of the mission are to:

  • Promote Republican values and ideas
  • Elect candidates that support and promote these values and ideas, and
  • Help them lead effectively based on our shared principles.
