Brookfield Resident Gets New Service Dog

Victoria Angelo has been confined to a wheelchair since she was injured in an accident several years ago.

Brookfield resident Victoria Angelo will graduate from the Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities program on June 3.

Three graduates and their service dogs will participate in the ceremony. Two of the graduates are confined to wheel chairs and the third graduate is a Vietnam war veteran with PTSD and Parkinson’s.

Angelo was critically injured in an automobile accident several years ago and has been confined to a wheelchair since then. Through physical training, she has regained the use of her arms and can speak clearly. By being paired with ECAD Service Dog Goldi, Angelo will become more independent.
