Brookfield Residential Yard Refuse Center Opens Saturday
Permits for the Center must be obtained, but there is no fee.
BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Residential Yard Refuse Center will be open on Saturday, April 13, through Dec. 7, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Center will be closed on the following Saturdays in 2024: May 25, July 6, Aug. 31, and Nov. 30.
Permits for the Center must be obtained, but there is no fee. Permits are available at the Public Works Office in the Town Hall, 100 Pocono Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays or directly at the Yard Refuse Center when the site is open on Saturdays. Only residents of Brookfield will be allowed to use the yard refuse center, which is intended for residential use only. Contractors are not permitted,

The Center will be open to accept Christmas trees on the following Saturdays in 2025: Jan. 4 and 11.
The Yard Refuse Center is located on Pocono road between the Town Hall and the Fire House.
